As Spring turns into Summer in Dallas, people are looking for things to do after a hard day at work. If you are heading to happy hour or a night out on the town with your friends, you will not want to miss these Dallas hotspots.
Relive Your Childhood
Every great story begins in a bar. Turn your night out into a lifelong memory at one of these quirky Dallas hotspots, like Bishop Cidercade. The Bishop Cidercade is an arcade bar in the Design District, featuring 170+ classic arcade games and over 30 ciders and wines on tap. It’s $10 admission for unlimited gameplay.
A Bar for the Laid Back Type
The Wild Detectives is a charming neighborhood bar and bookstore. It hosts readings, shows, festivals, and plays, while also hosting some of the best cocktails in the area. The purpose of the bar is to encourage individuals to have a drink and engage in conversation that will open new realities for them.
If you’re more of a music fan than an avid book lover, try Off the Record. Located in the heart of Deep Ellum, this space mashes a funky bar with a record store. You can find craft beer, craft cocktails, and one of the largest selection of vinyl records for sale.
Wednesday Night Out
The Green Elephant is a lively bar that comes to life on Wednesday nights. Every Wednesday, they host the Dallas Drum Djam starting at 9 p.m. There is a $5 cover, but all drinks are $2.75 until 10. Occasionally the drum circles are themed, and they feature vendors and performers from all over, including fire shows!
